The BCWS Code Enforcement Department is responsible for enforcing the County Codes of BerkeleyCounty. These codes range from littering, illegal dumping, open burning to water & sewer violations. Our four Code Enforcement Officers are responsible for prosecuting these violations in a court of law.The maximum fine for any of these violations is $500.
